Karnemelk Soep

Ingredients (4):   


1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
4 cups of buttermilk
1 table spoon of granulated sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 large apple,  (3 oz)
1 table spoons of apple concentrated juice

Letís Cook:

Peel, remove the core and thinly slice the apple;

Use a small bowl and mix flour with 3/4 cup of the buttermilk until completely integrated (it should feel like puree);
Transfer the "puree" to a heavy soup pot and slowly whisk in the remaining buttermilk;

Set burner to medium and bring the soup to a boil while whisking the entire time;
Reduce heat to low and keep stirring for another 8 to 10 minutes;
Add the apple slices, 1 table spoon of sugar and a pinch of salt;
Add concentrated juice to taste;
continue over low heat and keep stirring for another 5 minutes;

Serve hot.  Some people like to add some brown sugar.
